Netbooks vs. notebooks

There's no doubting that netbooks are an amazing and affordable new development; however, the classic notebook is by no means obsolete. Notebooks provide a larger screen, hard drive and keyboard and are generally more sturdy machines. Computer game players, graphic designers and anyone using heavy duty multimedia programs are probably more suited to a notebook computer.

Netbooks provide users with easy travel and a ready connection to the Internet. You'll also find that you can still run programs such as iTunes, Windows media and other Windows staples such as Microsoft Word. One thing netbooks don't have is a CD/DVD drive. If you're looking to import music or watch movies you'll have to use a flash drive/memory card or an external DVD drive.
